Born and raised in the blue collar town of Mansfield, Ohio I settled in Toledo after graduating from The University Of Toledo College of Law. I have been working with disability claimants since 2015. First as a law student intern then as an associate in a local firm from 2018 through May 2021.
My law school years were interrupted by a September 2015 cancer diagnosis. After a successful year long treatment course including chemotherapy, surgery and radiation, I returned to the University of Toledo to finish my law degree. After a long journey I passed the Ohio Bar exam and was admitted into practice in 2018. Since 2018 I have exclusively represented Social Security disability claimants.
My personal experience with illness gives me a unique perspective as a Social Security disability representative. It allows me to understands the emotional toll it takes when someone's health suffers. I have felt the accompanying loss of identity that comes with not being able to do what you once could. I will be both a legal advocate for your claim and an advisor for you personally. I will fight for your claim with the compassion of someone who has been in your shoes.
